ACCOMMODATION
There are a number of options open to you:
1 Bring your own tent/caravan
This is by far the cheapest option, and where possible, individuals will be allocated a pitch alongside others from their local church or geographical area.
2 Hire a tent
Wellspring have a selection of high quality tents available for hire. These will be set up and ready for you on your day of arrival. We offer a range of tent hire packages, from 4 to 8 berths, including the hire of all the equipment you will need for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Please contact admin@wellspringfm.co.uk or call 01736 710668.
3 Stay off site
If you prefer a different style of accommodation, Wadebridge has plenty of B&B's and hotels - but you will need to book up early to avoid disappointment.
Call the local tourist board on 0870 1223337 for more information
VOLUNTEERS
There are loads of things to get involved in at Wellspring, and it’s a great way to serve the Church, make new friends and get a discounted entry to Wellspring! Please call the Wellspring office for more details and a volunteer form.
Download a Volunteer Form.
Areas include stewarding, security, children’s work, youth work, first aid, crèche, coffee shop, admin team, welcome team, tent hire team, site set-up/site set-down team. NB If you would like to help with crèche, children or youth you must have a current CRB check, so please volunteer early enough for one to be done to avoid disappointment.
EXTENDED STAY
Why not make a real holiday of it and extend your stay from Saturday 1st to Saturday 8th August. The site will be open from 3pm on Saturday 1st, though please understand that the Wellspring team will be still setting up for the Wellspring event, and as such you will camp at your own risk.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
At Wellspring there are onsite showers and toilets, a selection of commercial food vendors, and a cafe running throughout the week. However for those staying on site you will need to bring your own dish washing equipment, towels, toiletries, personal effects and bedding.
TENT HIRE
Wellspring have tents available for hire, though these are limited. Book early to avoid disappointment. These are pre-pitched and will be available for occupancy from 10:30am on the 3rd August, unless you have booked extended stay, in which case it will be available from 3pm on 1st August until noon on 8th August. Damage to tents may result in additional charges. Contact admin@wellspringfm.co.uk or call 01736 710668 for more information.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES
On Monday 3rd August the gates will be open from 10:30am. We ask that you vacate the site by 5pm on the 7th, unless you are staying on until the Saturday (by prior arrangement).
DOGS AND OTHER PETS
For the convenience of other guests, pet animals are not permitted on site. Registered assistance dogs for disabled guests are accepted by prior arrangement.
VEHICLES ON SITE
You will be able to drive onto the site to pitch your tent/caravan, after which we ask that for Health and Safety reasons, all cars (except disabled) be kept off the campsite and parked in the onsite car park. If you are staying in a motor home you will be allowed to park on the campsite, though please limit the amount you drive on and off the campsite, keeping your speed to 5mph.
CHILDREN
We will be running a crèche for children up to 5 during the morning bible study (from 9.15am–10.45am), and a full morning and evening programme for children age 5 and upwards. During the evening celebration there will be an all-age worship time from 7.15pm-8.45pm for all the children (ages 0–11) to include parents/guardians who have children 4yrs and under. From 8.45pm-9.15pm there will be a DVD for any children who are still awake! Whilst we are happy to offer these activities, please note that at all times the safety of children remains the responsibility of their parents or guardians.
Please note that the Royal Cornwall Showground is a working site with farm machinery. It is therefore important that you always know where your children are and that you know the start and finish times of the activities they are involved in. It is particularly important that you make sure your children understand that they should obey the instructions of the Wellspring children and youth workers. Every youth and children’s worker will be cleared through the CRB Disclosure process conducted by their home church. A ‘Wellspring child protection policy’ is available on request.
BEHAVIOUR
Please show consideration to other guests and volunteers at all times, and treat the site and facilities with respect. Offensive or illegal behaviour will not be tolerated. Alcohol and drugs are prohibited from the site. If any guests or day visitors fail to comply with these rules their contract may be terminated and they will be asked to leave the site immediately (refunds will not be given).
INFECTIOUS DISEASES
Should anyone be diagnosed as having an infectious or contagious disease, they will be asked to seek outside medical assistance and to leave the site. Please note that we are unable to offer refunds in such circumstances.
